i like both of them a lot, poor things is literally my favorite movie of the year.

For people who’ve seen this, how much more accessible is this compared to Yorgos previous few films.

I wanted to take my dad to see it for Christmas (kind of a tradition for us) and he’s more of a normie movie guy, though somewhat open to weirder stuff. The stylized visuals are really appealing to him.

It’s more of a blockbuster than the older work in terms of accessibility

This was my first Yorgos film and I watched half of Sacred Deer today, and I can already comfortably say Poor Things is far more accessible lol

But as others have said it is quite sexually intense. I would actually say it's the heaviest film I've seen in that department since like...Wolf of Wall Street (WOWS still clears this by miles though)

ugh my local theaters not showing this and i gotta drive 40 min to see this

man this movie is such a fun experience, definitely deserves its praise and makes me wish all directors were striving to make something that looks this visually interesting.

4/5 for me right now. my second favourite Yorgos behind Sacred Deer

Absolutely fantastic

Only complaint was maybe a bit too long. Some parts could be cut (towards the end of the film I feel)

Saw this last night. Took a date. Bad idea lol. Movie started out with potential and ended up just being how many times can we show emma's nipples. Movie was too long too. Great concept. Poor execution. Relied heavily on camera tricks and visuals
