I definitely hear Family Ties is clubs

    lying <<<

So if Family Ties counts as a club hit you’re admitting Kendrick the one lying cause there’s no way you can twist Drake not having a song of that caliber pre-Future

Since you’re a bit slow: I’m asking you to explain when was Drake struggling to get played in the club.

You can’t. The line is a lie.

Additionally, if we playing that game Like That was his biggest song in years while being a Future collab. Crazy stupid line to use

Drake had a clear surge in popularity in clubs after linking with Future first in 2012 and then again with Metro in 2015. This is a known fact. What off of NWTS and even IYRTITL was a true club banger? His ATL connection in 2012 paved the way for his music popping off in strip clips in the south

Bedrock, Best I Ever Had, Forever, Miss Me, Over, Headlines, The Motto, HYFR, etc was before Tony Montana. That’s not even counting his features.

How the f*** was 2012 when he really started being played in clubs

You thinking Future in 2012 got more pull in a club than Wayne, Jay, Kanye, etc working with him is actually funny as f***.

All Me, Back to Back, 0 to 100, etc were all prior to WATTBA too. Drake has never had a period where he wasn’t getting play in clubs, at events, on radio, etc. He ain’t struggle getting a hit in any capacity pre Future lmao

    Bedrock isn’t his song
Best I Ever Had was never a club banger
Miss Me wasn’t a club banger
    Over isn’t a club banger

Tony Montana came out July 2011 so the Take Care ones came way after and some of them even blew up later in 2012.

What clubs was rushing to play Future in 2011????? Nigga that applies to like maybe 3 ATL strip clubs.

The rest of the clubs in the country wasn’t finally accepting Drake cause that random ass Future song lmao

And I’m hearing them songs in the club TODAY you said weren’t club bangers then lmao.

Literally heard Over last month in the club.

The “I KNOW WAY TOO MANY HERE THAT I DIDN’T KNOW LAST YEAR” intro line immediately will get the club moving

Even Up All Night was a song that was getting play. Future didn’t introduce him to no f***ing club

  • Noir

"2 Chainz say you good, but he lied" will always be the funniest part of that verse to me

He didn't even say anything specific, he just said mans don't really f*** with you at all

    Lmaooooo

Didn’t Drake and chains have a song called “no lie” too 😂

Midrick called Drake up in 2011 when he wasn't seeing an arena or 100k album sales

Then called Drake up again in 2024 when his last album flopped and singles were getting stale

A full circle moment for the biggest gimmick artist in the world 🫶

KTT aint gonna like this one

Future ran the clubs in 2012

I know yall all cacs and internet dorks so yall won’t get it

But future had the strip clubs on smash back then

    Magic
    Same damn time
    Itching
    Tony Montana and more…

I was shocked he was popping like that. And this was when I lived in Baltimore.

Wayne had “steady mobbin” in the clubs and syrup clubs but future was getting mini sets played back then. I was mind blown.

Drake was popping but not really on that hood/club level. But then again I was going to the black or “urban” spots during that era so
