Can someone catch me up on why Envy is in trouble?

He was promoting this fake real estate guy all over The Breakfast Club and on social media. Telling people they were partners and he was getting crazy ass returns on his money. Like 30% returns in 6 months.

People “invested” big money with the guy Envy was championing publicly. Some even gave their life savings or retirement money because they trusted Envy’s co-sign. Turns out it was all a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme.

Feds arrested the fake real estate guy. Envy is going down too for platforming the guy to a national audience. Envy could’ve known about the Ponzi scheme as well but that hasn’t been proven yet.
