from what I know buddhism is more about inner peace and connecting with your center/core/universe.....and to me that seems like a religion of self-improvement

Christianity on the other hand (the Orthodox faith to be precise) has a more wide view of things....there's no restrictions and dos and donts to get God's grace and that's because it is given and not earned

so to be brief I dont find a religion that depends on your mental/spiritual skill to be more charming and heart-warming than a pure gift....My skill and spirituality can be disturbed and destroyed any moment but a gift from God is untouchable
