Nah bc a lot of these albums people s*** on are actually great. I didn’t check out Birds for a minute bc I assumed it was mid just based on the echoe-chamber, checked it out and really enjoyed it. It’s happened with too many albums for me to just assume people are right

I honestly don't understand this most bad albums at least have a couple gems on them.

The meme of Nastadamus being a bad album was so strong on the Internet that I refused to listen to it.

When I listened to it though, I realized the album wasn't remotely as bad as people made it out to be. Nas was still spitting and some of the song concepts like Project Window were really dope.

I actually do this but because I dont want to run out of new material by them to listen to, so it takes me years to get through discographies of even my top artists just for this reason
