News. Sports is fun but oversaturated to s***. You most likely need a reel and a degree just because there's so many people looking for sports jobs.

If you're in sports you're most likely a reporter than a producer.

But I would look at your local news stations and see if you can get on as a production assistant and work your way up from there.
