Since the only station I can tolerate is the one that plays oldies, this might not be a bad idea.

Tupac's album All Eyez On Me.

When I was growing up, my dad used to play songs off the CD all the time, especially California Love, Ambitionz Az A Ridah, and Check Out Time.

I already was hearing rap on the radio like Nelly and 50 Cent but that was my gateway into discovering 90's rap as a kid and I learned about other rap albums from 96 like It Was Written.

It's crazy how people took time with records back then, nowadays things come and go so fast.
