I was a KanyeLive lurker at 17. I made my KTT account at 19. I’m currently 29 just a few months short of 30. When I actually think about it, it’s wild to think I’ve been around this website for over a decade. A much younger insecure me said I would not be on here after 23. Didn’t know id become a mod then an admin and spend even more time on the site. In retrospect I don’t regret any of the time I’ve spent on here. Have made some great memories in album threads and classic l&a threads. Have learned cool life hacks that have helped me immensely irl and getting around things in general because of this site. Some of the best friends I have currently I met on the original site. I’m not nearly as active on here as i used to be. Life is a lot more chaotic, time consuming, etc. but I still like logging on, modding, posting in threads and making them when I can. One day all of this might be gone if I’m not dead before it. So I guess posting this thread has no real purpose besides me saying I had no clue how much a silly Kanye forum I s*** post on as a teenager would still be a big part of my life or has been a big part of my life navigating adulthood. To the OGs still around I love y’all and love chopping it up when we can. To the younger kids, the site isn’t anything like it was a decade ago with so many changes in how we consume music now, but this is still a wonderful site. Enjoy it. Enjoy life in general.

I remember when Cudi first came up on here. That was the Golden Era.

Respect bro, ive seen myself go from checking for updates on anything kanye related around 2011, to not even listening to donda simply due to being not interested anymore (no hate). the site was def at its renaissance era 2012-14ish but still got some good topics despite not being the same.

First big moments I remember on here were the Wyoming releases in 2018 when I was 16. I wanna spend less time here but at the same time I’ve gotten so many good music recommendations off this site I don’t feel like I can leave
