Traffic can happen for a lot of reasons but it would be way lower than what it is if Americans respected the stay right rule and only move left to pass the person in front of you

Americans also don’t move left to let people get into the highway, it’s dumb all around

Most people in my area are going 60 in a 45 during rush hour. Flow of traffic doesn’t care unfortunately. I keep it at 50-55 most the time but mfs are def hitting 60s

If you look at the german autobahn I think there's no speed limit but the rules are enforced more to where you can only use those lanes to pass and their system works really well because they understand how traffic flows. You'd get a ticket going 70 if you camp the fast lane. I wish they'd implement that here so people wouldn't just camp the fast lane. When I see someone in that middle lane and the fast lane go the same speed my blood f***ing boils.

Depends on the situation. Some traffic is unavoidable and some is caused by people who can’t drive correctly

Theoretically, people who wanna go fast should just stay in the fast lane, maybe switch once or twice to get past slow drivers and then go back to that lane, but some ppl be tryna switch into every lane just to get past everyone

Theoretically everyone should be on all the other lanes except the most left. The left should only be for people hitting 85 to pass up on the highway.

But you shouldn’t be “staying” in the left lane, it’s a passing lane and you should be sticking to the right as much as possible

Yea tbh when I first started driving I was always going the speed limit instead of the flow of traffic and I noticed how less safe it was. Kinda hate traffic lol

you know what I hate worse, is when people don't follow the zipper method of merging when there is a blockage on the road. You cause more traffic merging in too early in the middle of the lanes

2 lane roads on my way to work. Slow drivers / exit coming up in the right lane, fast ones in the left. Lots of cars, not enough gap to switch lanes every time I wanna over take someone, so I stay in the left

highway speed limit where i am is 65 so i’m averaging somewhere between 76 and 83 in the middle lane
