China cannot beat the US's military. Nukes they only hope. And nuclear war is something nobody wants, especially when the US has the most nukes and superior submarines.

i very much dislike china but this isn't completely true. keep in mind that if the US had to actually fight China in theory, and assuming it happened on the mainland, they'd have to ship troops literally across the entire world, which is an extreme feat even for a highly developed military. Since the last major sea-based conflict, China has overhauled a lot of their airforce to deal with incoming naval threats because of how behind they were a few decades ago, which is a great detractor to a navy having to traverse half the globe. Keep in mind the other factors would include Japan & SK being implicated in this too which would be disastrous because of how close to simple missile range they are to the mainland, even if the US has bases stationed there.
imo, a theoretical war with China would ultimately be a loss for them but it would be a war of attrition which would likely end because of other reasons (likely economic) rather than sheer power. Fighting a war on the opposite side of the world is near impossible in a lot of scenarios. That said, China would never be able to attack mainland US for a similar reason, namely because of how behind their naval tech is (estimated at multiple years to ready a navy for a foreign strike).
This war would basically never happen anyway but this is why i don't think it'll ever evolve past proxy wars or economic cold wars
basically it'd be disastrous for both sides

bruh our navy is in shambles of what it used to be

i covered this in the response i made to the same post but china's navy is far worse than the us, like objectively speaking. definitely agree our navy isn't as good as it was comparatively to say, during WW2 or something, but it's definitely not completely dilapidated or anything. the real issue is that neither the US nor China has a good enough navy to find a war on the other side of the world especially how good the airforces of both countries have developed relatively. there's basically no army in the world good enough to fight a full on mainland war on the other side of the world atm
