KTT2 doesn’t stand for anything, so this website is no longer a Kanye fansite. he’s a great producer, but all his vocal styles are derivative of other popular vocal styles of his time, and he barely writes his own lyrics. he’s basically Travis Scott except more hands-on with the production & actually delivers some great verses from time to time, but not too often & still with a lot of help from others

enough Kanye demos from every album have leaked over the years to confidently say his writing process goes like this:
plays beat
mumbles in the melody he wants to rap
someone else fills in those mumbles with actual words
kanye uses most of those words but changes them up a little to be more personal to himself

it’s time to stop pretending he’s great at rapping just bc he’s a great producer, bc great rappers don’t need the help of 10 other people per song to write lyrics
