I saw someone in the main Opera thread saying he’s “scared that this will just be another Sunday Service”. Lol. When he does a show at Hollywood Bowl, you need to do whatever the f*** you can to get there and see it. No exceptions.
Artists don’t just book the Hollywood Bowl to do some regular ass show. Let’s take the 808’s performance for example.
808’s at Hollywood Bowl was on the level of, if not better than the Yeezus tour itself.
The only reason why the experience is not talked as highly on here is because only like 1% of the population of this forum was actually able to experience it, due to them being young and poor. (Tickets were incredibly expensive)
If you attended 808’s and don’t agree with the claim I’ve made, it just means that you had lawn seating (SEMI-poor) and essentially witnessed nothing, while I was in a front row box seat, taking in everything.
I need you guys to not be young and poor for this one. Don’t make the same mistake you did back in 2015. Get there and see this!

Finally got a hold of an HD copy of the Hollywood Bowl. Maaaaaaaaaaan that s*** was something else. Just an unmatched level of artistry there. But I'm not flying to LA.
Nov 19, 2019I was young and living of my parent’s money back in 2015 and I was able to experience 808s at the Hollywood bowl. My first time seeing Ye. One of the best things Kanye has done live and extremely underrated.
Now I’m still young but broke :(
