It’s officially a multiverse now so both timelines are technically correct.
I just think it’s funny it exposes that Goku can indeed perish due to trivial things like heart health.

Earth 1 Goku died, so future earth 1 trunks went back in time to save earth 1 Goku. When earth 1 future trucks went back to the future, he thought Goku was gonna be alive but he was still dead. So technically, the Goku we see now is from earth 1.1
