no one remembers this outsider pop concept album that counts down every day of the year?
this hard
yep...love an album thats long and nonstop flows from track to track...its like a collection of pop suites...the transitions go extremely hard...a lot of the songs are like 3 songs mashed together

i feel u....i actually like listening to music in a different language a lot tho..u cant understand what they're saying so u focus on the rhythmic/melodic aspects of the speech/singing more...makes vocals basically another instrument

i feel this lol, thats how i feel about all vocals tbh
this album is brilliantly produced, but i feel like the chanted counting becomes grating after awhile, and since lyrics are a pretty big part of music for me and i don't speak this language naturally, i just don't find much desire to come back to it
pretty cool project though

totally get that...i think the chanting becomes mesmerizing...almost trancelike...it really works for me as the album goes on...keeps its own rhythm...gives this sonic consistency while everything else is going off in so many directions
