Yeah Bainz is not a good mix engineer by any stretch. Needed Alex for this one.
I have no clue how you don’t use one engineer for the entire album or at least the mastering man this sounds so all over the place because of it
HATE THE GAME
I have to revisit
I remember not caring too much for it when it dropped tbh
havent listened in some time but i predict it will sound better now
what pop punk influenced songs?
Hate the Game
That’s kinda what I was afraid of. I feel like SMF was thug appealing to the casual fan (which is great for him) but that’s not what I personally wanna hear from him. Ima let it play in the morning tho and see wassup
SMF was more aggressive and turnt up this definitely more along the lines of R&B with guitars
Its chill with a couple SMF-turnt joints
Gunna singing is so good man wtf he should make an r&b album after ds4
Thought this would be it but so far seems like smf part two with experimental tracks sprinkled in
Not necessarily a bad thing i liked smf
Hate the Game
ahhh I havent gotten that far yet, I was about to say I havent heard anything even close to pop punk.
I have no clue how you don’t use one engineer for the entire album or at least the mastering man this sounds so all over the place because of it
Nah Alex should have mixed the whole thing. The mixes on this are all over the place.

Jeff Bhasker should produce more s*** for artists. His production on this and DONDA is crazy good.
