And that's also why the album had an insane downgrade from day 1 to day 3 or 4 (something like a 70% loss). Again I'm not here to s*** on CLB I'm just saying that numbers as a lens for quality isn't a thing and never will period
I'm not saying numbers = quality necessarily. Big artists with a huge fanbase will always do huge first day/first week numbers just off of interest. That's why in regards to me saying Thug's album isn't good and the numbers will reflect that, I said I'm more interested in how the album is performing weeks after it's release and not it's first week numbers.
Truly bad albums won't keep putting up numbers. That's just the truth. And I'm only saying that about albums from established mainstream acts, not those yet to breakout. That's why I can now say that about Thug. I won't say that about an artist like dvsn or Bas or Isaiah Rashad — artists who haven't broken out in the mainstream yet.

I got quoted and then I said I think the album is bad and it's numbers overtime will reflect that. Y'all brought Drake into it and made it about him, not me.

Oct 15, 2021I liked this. IMO SMF was better to me. But this is really good. A completely different vibe but not one we haven’t seen from Thug before yet this is more polished and easier to listen to.
