T shyne always just subtly murders his verses

T-Shyne and Strick both came through with 20 & 10
They want their respect
It literally sounds like it could be on BTG.
Uh huh, uh huh. Again, what song does it sound like from BTG?
Heard you went and f***ed my friend, is you stupid
Heard you went and copped the Benz, is you stupid
Spendin' all your dividends, is you stupid
You must be stupid, you must be stupid
My nigga you can literally throw that song on BTG lmao
Man I couldn't disagree more. I guess what you're saying is that there are songs on this album that are melodic and have guitar or piano somewhere in the beat, and in an abstract sense that reminds you of BTG. Which is a really weird criticism. Is the idea that for every new project, an artist has to break COMPLETELY from their past in a stylistic sense. Bc every other aspect of these songs (vocal delivery, structure, how good the hooks are, poppiness) is very different
