this makes me think....in about 70 years or so will there be documentaries on rappers from our era like there are for people like tina turner and sam cooke? like i could imagine this clip being played during the “humble beginnings” segment of a young thug doc

Easily. Melodic rap era 2016-2019 gon be talked bout heavy and they gon start with future drake and thug. Then probably do another segment on how 808s opened like lane for rappers to show emotion and melody

the album is great & came out towards the beginning of that era, but it didn’t open that lane. it walked right through open doors.
