he was rappin his ass off on wunna and the production is clearly better but the vulnerability on a gift & a curse is unmatched. he couldnt ‘money, cars, hoes’ his way thru the album. the self reflecting resonates more with me as a listener personally
Thug had a strong 16 and 17. So Much Fun was the warning signal that his relevance going forward would be tied to his namesake more than anything
