Unfair to compare artist ran labels to a QC or TDE.

Why?

Because it’s a lot more on their plate managing their careers and their label at the same time.

Yo Gotti label is hitting their stride now because he’s older and is not as active.

So it’s unfair to compare them to labels where artist don’t have to worry about managing their entire label at the same time as juggling their careers also.

Thug was at the peak of his career commercially and decided to drop a compilation album instead of a follow up solo that coulda put him to the next level.

Artist on TDE, QC etc don’t really have to make those kind of sacrifices.
