I’m surprised so many of you are still holding out for this s***

Thug legitimately has a green light he shouldn’t have with releasing projects lol

Someone else, who isn’t a yes man should help him pick and chose what/who to drop and when

They got it right with Keed amd Gunna last year

But nobody is really anticipating this compilation.. and take it trial is the epitome of mid

The biggest MC in the game pushed his album back a few weeks ago..

I tried to have a serious convo about the impact the pandemic is having on hip hop but it’s clear that folks are sitting on their projects until they can tour

It’s a gift and a curse

If you’re versatile and have the bandwidth to capture the moment and still make great music (the bigger picture) you can continue to drop

Jay got in Thug’s ear after SMF dropped and told him he was going to need to show that side to continue evolving

We can’t turn up right now.. look at the last two future projects that dropped (High off Life, Pluto & Baby Pluto) You could argue both projects are underwhelming by his (Future’s) standards but the type of music being made doesn’t hit the same when folks are stuck in the house waiting for stimulus checks

The Trap has to go back to its roots (Trap Music, Thug Motivation 101, Traphouse) right now or maybe we’re facing the inevitable decline of the most dominant sub-genre in the last 20 years

If “Hot” the OG or remix dropped Friday, it wouldn’t have the same impact it did in 2019

Given the loss of all these young rappers and the pandemic’s affect on society in 2021, if “We Ball” dropped right now it would have ten times the impact it did in 2018.

Until we can get back to rolling loud these artists have to get in their bag and adapt..... can’t keep kicking the can on your project
