I really still hate that travis got 80 year old ralph steadman to make a custom cover for him and it’s for easily his worst least effort project. Like what an amazing & creative idea just wasted on this filler collab tape.

It is though. Saying it’s a vibe doesn’t change that at all. It’s like a throwaway compilation of Birds era travis songs and almost nonexistent quavo presence over pretty good beats. It’s telling when ppl have this convo it’s the same 3 songs being discussed. Astro being so amazing made it look even more unnecessary in retrospect

HUNCHO JACK, JACK HUNCHO is full of bangers. Left and right. Super catchy, dope ass production. Perfect gym/turn up album.

worst album ever

I really didn’t want 10 more oh my dis sides even though i love that song. I expected the style of project we got when it was announced. I just feel like it lacked something on both their parts especially when you consider how insane quavo’s 2017 run was. He was the least memorable part of the project and he was on such a quality streak, and maybe i’m salty cus that was the beginning of him really starting to phone it in

Travis phoned it in too, which again he was so passionate about the artwork it felt like he put more effort into that collab than the music collab. Idk i just have a sour taste for it as a big fan of both artists and the timing of it, it could’ve been so much more than it was potential wise from both of them.

And to ur point about the artwork, i do appreciate we got it definitely. I think the connection between steadman’s art with fear and loathing & travis’s reoccurring rodeo concept/theme is so cool and having it attached to this just feels like a wasted opportunity a lil
