    oh i already know of your "dislike" of Audition

    its the best miike tho

    I just think his use of violence is more entertaining when it’s used in a more cartoon-y way a la Ichi

    Or if it’s toned down in general without the shock factor, like his crime/samurai films

    Yeah i agree it's better and I say it as someone who called Mulholland Drive his favorite film for a few years
