    Byrds and Yardbirds?

the byrds were a top 10 favorite american band for me about 10 years ago. when i updated my list for favorite bands of all time this year, they ended up at #299. i just listened to their first 6 albums again 2 days ago though. they're #61 in my top bands of the 1960s. the yardbirds used to be in my top 100 bands of the 1960s, but they were pushed out by several salsa, folk, soul, and blues artists.
