i wish all stans would put aside their animosity towards one another and understand that everyone uses bots but they are each employed on different levels. every musician is a fraud lets just chat about how much we enjoy the music dawn fm clears ds4

It’s impossible for some because they leaned on their favorite doing certain numbers and s*** as a merit on what artists is better than the other for years. When none of that s*** should matter to fans in the first place. Yeah you can be happy for that artist’s success but that’s it.

lol the business itself doing something for the artist possibly out of a deal obligation or just sheer appreciation - either way making it obvious to the public - vs secretive payola behind the curtains to diminish another artists sales and push your own

you kbots cannot think in 3D i swear to god lmfao everything so f***ing one dimensional to yall, DRAKE WON - BOTTING WILL BE REVEALED 2025

A “business itself doing something for the artists possibly out of a deal obligation” can also be payola lol “just sheer appreciation” you think they had this nigga as the face of Gospel because they like God’s plan that much?

Gunna fans don't care anymore because they became parasocial with him since he became a laughingstock during the trial. It's so weird how they're going to go the Drake route with their fandom behavior lol

actual Gunna fans do not bother anyone, yall are confusing niggas on here who disguised themselves as fans to further other proxy wars lol

I don't think touring data tells the full picture either, I'm guessing what we are trying to measure here is popularity?

I remember Russ sending a few subliminal's at Future/Metro related to their tour performance or something and then he started claiming that they were botting their streams because Russ is a lot less popular but he is able to sell out more arenas than them.

I think what a lot of people don't take into account is that people gravitate more towards artists they can relate to. And Russ, being a white person, can more easily amass a white fanbase that will go to his concert since he himself is a white person his fans can relate to (because he looks like them).

I'm not saying Future doesn't have white fans but I feel like there is a barrier that prevents some white people from wanting to attend black artists concerts, especially if the artist is creating explicit art like Future. I have had a few white girls ask me if saying the N word at a rap concert is okay and it gets me thinking of how many non black fans of rap artists even feel comfortable going to a rap concert by a black artist in the first place.

White privilege is definitely a thing when it comes to touring but it seems like no one wants to talk about it. I don't know much about the politics of ticket pricing but the absurd prices of them is problematic for black artists and now in the social media age when a black artist does drop their ticket prices to affordable levels you get losers online making fun of them for doing so and some even claiming that the sales are not "valid" - because somehow people from lower income being able to attend a concert don't count as real people anymore

I'm not trying to say that streaming is a more reliable measurement of popularity, its obviously not when we know every artist is botting but I really think the complexion of your skin is too big of a factor for touring data to tell the whole picture either

I always hated Young Thugs sound. Idk what Gunna sounds like. I was surprised to see him clear the Weeknd. Pretty sure back then in a thread about it I said something similar and ppl were trying to show me Gunna tracks.

I never said that that was a specific evidence of payola but that doesn’t mean that Drake hasn’t had any label or streaming platform or “management” involvement when it comes to his success especially with streaming. You’re delusional if you think Spotify did all of that through “sheer appreciation” of Drake
