The worst part is their position on education. Formal education is by far the most efficient means to instruct a massive population and while there may be exploitive tendencies, I have seen no functioning alternative that wouldn't create massive cracks in learning development. Children simply are not equipped to educate themselves and should not have the autonomy to do so

I believe youth-lib stems from a section of leftists who cannot cope with the fact not everyone can successfully achieve autonomy. That some people are inherently weaker and prone to exploitation.

i wouldn't describe myself as one but youth lib means that children should not be treated as being inferior to adults, and that they should be respected as human beings like everyone else, and the reason why they aren't why not is because of ableism n patriarchal norms in place.
