Recently some crazy s*** happend in Russia, one streamer basically murdered his girlfriend off stream (he threw her out of the house in just lingerie and she froze to death), then put her body on a couch and continued streaming till the police arrived.

Then I went down that rabbit hole and it's crazy what people at least in Russia are streaming, and I can't understand how Youtube cares about people spreading fake information about Covid19 but doesn't care about people literally murdering each other on stream.

I was subscribed to Youtube for like two months as I watch it on IPAD, and doesn't want to see ads, and also wanted to just listen to some videos in the background, but no way I'm going to sponsor this bullshit.

How are they getting profit from it, if something has been tagged as being violent or inappropriate it gets demonetized

I'm sure illegal s*** gets uploaded, but someone has to probably report it first before it gets handled

These people are streaming for donations, so Youtube indirectly encourages such behavior just by letting him streaming. You can stream with dead person for 2 hours but if you accidentaly play copyrighted song it's a block.

I mean the copyright is due to bots that pick up on that s*** automatically, not like they have a bot for detecting dead bodies in videos to be fair

I wouldn't say that's encouraged because if you're doing illegal s*** they're gonna ban your channel and you're probably going to prison, very doubtful whatever amount that dude got donated to him is making them say "man really don't wanna lose the revenue this guy is bringing us"

Hahahaha, tbh, I want to believe that russian vaccine is as effective as Pfizer or Moderna but it's like with the boy who cried wolf, they have been lying for so long that I just can't believe it.
