Why I feel like white people started this s***
Stop Asian Hate*
*But acknowledge Asian people's racism and bigotry towards black people.

all hate matters
Why I feel like white people started this s***
Even if they didn't there's been a whole wave of white liberal women/gay dudes the past couple years who have done their best to be offended for every non-white person on the planet and it's weird as f***
America: "It's time for a racial reckoning. We have to critically look at ourselves and the cultural norms we've cultivated. It's time to listen to the voices of people who have been yelling for years with no one listening. Their thoughts and feelings matter. If they are offended by something, it's not on us to explain it to them from our own perspective. We need to hear their perspective and listen."
Also America: "Wait no IDC if that song is racist it's art, stop being sensitive."
get rid of every offensive thing in the world?
I believe that like 99.9999999% of people truly and genuinely would not inconvenience themselves or make even the smallest of sacrifices to help a cause that they don't identify with.
Like c'mon guys. Everyone in this thread. You all KNOW DAMN WELL these lyrics ain't right. But you're not impacting personally by them so you don't want to be bothered pushing for them to be removed because either you like the song and/or you're afraid a different song you do like could be next target for something like this. It's not even that you disagree with people's reasons for wanting this down, you just simply can't be bothered.
Problem in America is that most white people have this same attitude on racism... "I know racism is wrong but you got me f'd up if you think I'm gonna lift a finger or sacrifice anything for a cause that doesn't benefit me, you're all on your own." Until people start genuinely giving a damn about other people nothing's ever going to change.
who are the lyrics impacting? some Asian kid is gonna listen to this YG song and feel bad about being Asian because YG said many Asians don't trust banks and keep cash in their homes?
they didn’t censor him they just didn’t promote him
and they quickly reversed that policy
What's next cancelling every movie with a unflatering portrayal of an asian?
Meanwhile, no one seems to care about the genocide against the uyurgers (Muslim asians been killed).
I'm against all forms of hate and bigotry but cancelling art is dumb. How else are we supposed to learn without us sugarcoating everything?
It’s been a while since I’ve heard this but the album is a narrative that tells a story of a day of the life of YG during his robbing days

Man, I know an Asian girl that goes insane when that part comes on. I always chuckled to myself about seeing her react to it.

His only good album. Great track - really paints a story.
Why is our culture constantly getting censored? Hollywood has been more problematic to Asian stereotypes than Us.
Idk about y’all but there’s extremely racist Asians in the hood I remember o couldn’t even go over my friends house back in 6th grade because I sat on his father’s couch but I seen my other Asian friends do it all the time
Asians are honorary white folks if we keepin it a buck
they're not going to like this
