I’m actually in agreement.

The point I’m making is the hypocrisy of people who deem one ok and one not.

But that's also the problem man. We shouldn't deem what is wrong and whats not. Neither should Spotify or Youtube. Art is art. YG's experience is his own, and he's a creative whether "The lyrics aint right" or not.

In this case, it's a singular line off a song from 2013 that people are overreacting to given the context today (current media cycle).

Another thing is a podcast about white supremacy or a racist youtube rant or something. Obviously thats not art.

I consider it as art as it's YG's expression that stems from experiences from someone of his state of mind, in the environment someone like that grew up in. Whether he truly happened to have robbed an asian family is besides the point. Whether he personally meant it, is besides the point as well.

I believe said people shouldn't be taking it personally, as the line isn't a personal statement either. It's an artist literally performing his art.

Anyway, that's just my belief. Others are allowed to believe and/or feel about it anyway they'd like too as well.
