You said "Gangs and killing certainly only happen in the USA" sarcastically, I assumed.

You mentioned killing. I posted their murder rate, which is extremely low, as are all of their crime rates.

Also, saying murder rate per population has nothing to do with gang violence is f***ing stupid. A high percentage of murders are due to gang violence.

Again murder rate among the general population has nothing to do with gang violence or gang related death.

No s*** it’s higher in the us and other places for various reasons including population in general and gang culture in the country itself.
got a source for that high percentage of murders being gang related?

Yes they do. If there are almost zero murders, there can't magically be a significant number of "gang murders" We are talking 300 including accidental killings for a population of 50 million. Imagine 300 murders and manslaughters in California AND New York.

How does population matter if the statistic is per 100,000 people? gang culture isn't prevalent in S. Korea, which is kind of my point. There's very little violence. There's very little crime. Acting like I'm "misinformed" is silly as hell.

Do I look like f***ing Google, stupid? Look up the top top 10 cities with the most murders and then look up estimations of how much of it is due to gang violence. You'll probably find numbers like 60% for Chicago, 25% NYC, Baltimore, St. Louis...
