I think Tear was hit hard enough that a lot of the pre-Tear top decks are safe to play again

Tear will always be fine as long as Chaos and Kit are around look at OCG still dragging its corpse and getting some tops

Mathmech still has Circular fully legal unlike tcg and ocg right? Its still doable and pretty decent i imagine. It just sucks with the deck cuz Kash banishing everything plus running dimension banish cards its gonna hurt the xyz recovery for Mathmech and its trap card. Plus Tear putting everything back with Ishizu (which thankfully that is a ban/limit thats great that theyre doing).

Mathmech with the cyberse dragon guys can be fun tho. I used it a bit in the tcg Omega. MD just got i think the link 5 in the latest (mostly trash) selection pack that is anime focused. Thats one of the few good ones in there and great for that variation. That variation got some tops too iirc.

Since first playing in iirc October 2022 i built for meta play using Cyber Dragon Therions (my starter deck i made fairly viable) & Eldlich Zombie grass pile (not floodgate version and the deck that really taught me the game).

Then went to Swordsoul Tenyi (my first "real" deck and used for a long time) & Tri Brigade Bird Up. Tri Brigade is especially a dope middle ground deck that is cheap to build while still being competitive. And a great core that work with a lot of stuff like Fur Hire, Ancient Warriors and Fire Fist.

Then went to Branded & Dragonlink.

Then Adamancipator. The 3 mains i have now.

I keep two to three decks in rotation for meta. While keeping a deck for retro format events which rn is Predaplants, which is also fairly cheap to build & is fun. And it works well with a Branded core so i just use those together for events that allow it.

I always dismantle most of half of my old rotation to afford easier my newer main sets. While having a deck once in a while that is for events or just to f*** around with like Predaplant & I used to have a Tellarknights rank 4 xyz spam deck.

I have not spent money on this game at all. I just rack up my dailies by logging then do them when i can, i do the solo modes (which each gate has a free 200 points at the end) on my switch while watching tv/youtube. And i dismantle things i know im never gonna use or dont need. Also i always buy the battlepass too which helps a lot - and thank god its cheap as hell to buy it with regular gems.

I am in diamond rank most of the time.

I forgot i used to run Unchained as well during my Tri and Swordsoul era, I think I built it right before Swordsoul iirc.

But dismantled it when Tear came cuz Destruction heavy decks is ass against Tear since they all float or activate after getting destroyed.

Will def build Unchained again tho once the new support finally comes to MD.

Unchained is one of my fav decks in general along with Swordsoul, Branded, Adamancipator & Rokket Dragonlink. Probably my top 5 overall.

Tellarknights, Tri Brigade, Predaplants, Bee Trooper & Dino are probably my next 5 favs. Top 10 favs overall.

Cant wait for Purrely & Vanquish Soul to come to MD tho theyre pretty fun.

Chimera core is gonna be dope to use with Branded too.

Them 3 plus newer Unchained im really looking forward too and gonna save up for months down the road.

Dont think i need to build anything for a long time until them. Dragonlink, Adamancipator & Branded Thunder Dragon should be good enough for now. All competitve and good enough variety. Might rebuild Swordsoul.

Also tcg/md unlock all the Dragonrulers please so we can have a rank 7 alternative that isnt Kash i wanna play them so bad

I got maxx'd 5 times two of them happened in a single game

I got Dark Ruler'd once shout out Dragon Link

I got Barrier'd twice shout out Lab

And i got Evenly'd twice

Oh and I got Lightning Storm plus Rageki'd plus one of those unfair floodgate monster all in the same match shout out flood gate board breaker bullshit decks

But yeah, the two decks i happened to main got hit in the banlist and now netured especially Branded were the issues :)

Tournament was generous with gems. Managed to craft a purrely deck and I’m having fun now. Had to dust my prank kids and sky strikers tho.

I’ve got swordsoul tenyi, branded despia, tri-brigade and purrely now. That prolly it for me. I want labyrinth but I know I’ll open 10 packs get 1 UR when I need 20 and I’m not gutting anymore decks.

Guess I should be grateful I have purrely, sword soul and branded on F2P

Ranked ladder is miserable right now, I have been stuck in the middle of Diamond for a week

imo there’s actually too much variety atm, you can’t prepare for anything in a BO1, and the two top decks being Purrely and Labrynth make it nearly impossible to counter both.

I blame Kashtira for flopping so hard lmao
