i enjoyed this but why do theese last three projects have like one track that hints at tru greatness ( folie imposee tuck and purified by the fire) while the rest seems to be leaning into different impulses

Think yves just got a twisted idea of cohesion because there’s always something that feels out of place on the album entirely (lioness on sithol) but sounds like we need an entire project of that vibe

I just think if we’re all big stans that’s been excited for this shouldn’t we kinda sit with it for a second and listen over it a few times and get familiar with the music ? I feel like this with every artist, most first listens for artists I love I’m just processing the new music, I’m not even fully listening like that. This doesn’t apply to you either cus you’ve heard it for awhile

I feel you and get where you’re coming from, but, Operator sounds like it was mixed on a DS and there’s random Mowalola vocals for absolutely no reason. Some people are just going to flat out focus on the flaws, the mixing on this and song structure imo is all over the place. Meteora Blues randomly turns into a country song during the breakdown before the last hook, the live version was entirely different. Every live version of these songs were entirely different tracks lol. Lovely Sewer OG is not even the same f***ing song 😭 and the CDQ sounds ridiculous.

I think they’re good songs on here: god is a circle, parody, in spite of war, fear evil like fire (even though this was also neutered to hell it’s too good to be ruined), and Ebony eye. Purified is literally just a TEAMS song, it’s fire but why is it here? It acts as a disservice to the rest of the project cuz you just s***ted on every other track and proved you should be making the music everyone been asking for instead.

That’s my final take on the album. It ain’t wrong to admit if you think yves dropped mid, I didn’t think it was possible s*** I might be the biggest stan but even they’re not getting a pass from me
