sorry but to keep it a buck as an OG fan this new music is a dud for me. each album since heaven to a tortured mind seems to be an exercise in the project shedding everything interesting about itself in pursuit of banal pop/rockstardom. i liked a couple songs off the asymptotical world but that's about it, the rest is pretty much just mid rock with a juxtapositionally avant garde presentation
