okay so i feel a little blueballed by crushed velvet. i feel like the recurring guitar strums after 1:52 were too grounding/sobering. i feel like they stifled the song’s momentum that would’ve crescendoed, in all its lucid and airy glory with the intense euphoria-inducing instrumental break from 2:08-2:22 (that also should’ve been extended, closing out the song).“coming down” again, after that instrumental break just felt a lil anticlimactic
