@ninachop
Deleted it cause apparently queues don’t mean new item dropping it’s been queueing up like that all day 😞
I think for a major company to switch hands, it takes time.
I am just speaking how I feel it can go really.
I still see GAP becoming YZY though.
i mean he literally just needs majority shares
even if his brand were to absorb gap, he would have to buy it or buy their shares, but the latter would make no sense as he makes them more money and maybe makes the company more valuable
i'm sure he partnered cause their resources are way cheaper since they're nearly shut down compared to brands like h&m and s***, but even then, idk if he can financially handle manufacturing on his own

Appreciate the response for sure.
I just feel like it would be the ultimate full circle. The whole him working at GAP
To him being the head of it.
Wild story it would be.

Given all his aspirations considered I think Yeezy being a monopolized holding company with stocks in Kanye’s partnering companies is a lot more likely than yeezy being some evolved fashion brand. Wouldnt even be surprised if yeezy season 8 is the last high fashion offering from kanye

yeah, i don't really see yeezy itself becoming a large standalone brand
easily see him just sinking his hands in a s*** ton of brands dependent on him namesake and making them synonymous with his product despite having their own s***, cough cough adidas lol

yep. Kanye's cultural capital is more profitable than his product at the end of the day. been like that since forever but seems like the money he's earned from sneakers has presented him with a clearer, broader plan. gives him the agility to dip into the housing, tech etc
all an exploitative scam at the end of the day anyway but whatever

that's why i don't really see the point of him gaining his own source of labor and manufacturing. him picking near irrelevant/defunct brands almost keeps them from ever being like "we don't need you anymore so we don't need to renew"

to aestheticize domestic labor for marketing/pr purposes and political leverage on a county/presidential scale.
that, the pacifier of f*** you money, and rebranding as a cultural recluse
