Its obviously doesnt hold artist like wayne, jay z back etc. But zay is not that caliber of rapper and it shows on this album even moreso. We all were waiting on it to drop but to act like this wasnt an issue is still crazy to me. Did yall actually like that lazy flow that zay has seemingly adopted on 90 percent of his songs? Its cool in doses but honestly from the breakfast club interview zay seems to even have a hard time describing what hes talking about on his songs.

I don't have a problem with his project lyrically at all, but yeah as much as I love the album, the mumble-ish voice on every song besides FTG was a problem to me

CD had his best rapping tbh, felt like his rapping started getting lazy af on TST

True. Well he did develop and alcohol and perc problem so the sluggish voice could reflect that. Now that he’s clean hopefully, the next one is better. There probably won’t be such a big of a break between the next one.
