Been told I sound "Drake-ish" on this one, hopefully that's a good thing and it doesn't sound too "copycat". This is an old one from 2017 but I re-tweaked it yesterday evening and uploaded it. Feature is my African boy from the high school days, such a unique voice haha
Happy to return all feedback as ever
Your delivery is kind of a chiller version of Drake, which works well with the beat. I wish the beat was louder, because the beat is quite atmospheric, but it's pushed a little back in the mix. I wasn't a fan of the feature; he sounds off-key, and his delivery doesn't fit the vibe of the instrumental because he sounds too sharp and abrasive. But I do like the ending, how it has a good playful (blooper) nature to it. Keep it up bro!

Thank you brother, I'll accept that comparison happily haha. Aye, listening back to it I should have raised the beat subtley, 0.8dB or something like that would have made a difference. Are you on headphones or monitors out of interest?
Fair play on the feature btw, maybe an aquired taste, he's a friend from high-school and I felt that was necessary for the story of the track sorta thing, concept wise. Understandable critique though.
Most importantly, thanks for listening my G
