10 years ago, I was on Vine, just scrolling around just watching funny vids, then I across this one Vine in where the background music was so catchy, but yet unique. That was when I found it was 3005. This is what introduced me into Donald aka Childish Gambino.
The funny thing is that it wasn't the first time I heard Donald, I heard "The Party" before but it was on Pandora. But I didn't pay it any mind.
So whenever I gotten to listen to this album while reading the screenplay, I knew that point that I officially heard (in my opinion) one of the greatest rap albums of 2010s and possibly all time.
This album has been helping me through many dark times in my life from back then when I was teen to now. I'm happy to see the evolution that Donald had in the past 10 years since this release. But this will always be the most impactful release of it all.
