    i only have a few 4ks as i just got a new TV but man am i scared to buy more now

    these companies need to stop lying. half this s*** is not even 4k or HDR smh

    anything for a quick dollar ig

    also I've seen a lot of 4K releases where they f***ed up the colour

    Tbh the quality of the masters is so insane vs YouTube that they hardly need to be available in 4K. But now they just look straight up amazing

    Yeah, people don't even realize how crispy true 1080p is.

    It's rare to see real 1080p unless you got blu-ray movies

    Our 4k cams on our phones are probably closer to true 1080p than 4k.

    I think it’s all in the super high bit rate. I’ll take 70-200mbps 1080p over 6-12mbps 4K any day.

    I have 1 in-home backup, 2 cloud backups, and 1 offsite cold backup.

    The music industry themselves see this as a viable option and worth doing. Have you noticed all the old youtube music videos that they've been replacing with 1080p upscaled videos? they look better. The only difference is I'm not doing it to old 480p videos and rather videos already in 1080p.

    I get that this isn't worth it to a lot of people due to file size. 24bit FLAC audio also isn't viable to a lot of people because of file size yet people still collect it. I'm just making this content that I think is undeniably better quality available to those that are interested.

    Lol it’s not the same thing the quality is very noticeable if you have the equipment for it to play 24bit

    Doing the videos is really just a waste of space but if that’s what you like then f*** it keep doing it

    I know it’s noticeable that’s why I said I have 2TB+ of flac. Space isn’t an issue for me.

    Alright alright I finally got them compressed from 12-20GB each down to 600MB-1GB and I'm happy with the compression quality. Obviously not as good as the full size versions but it's only barely noticeable and wildly smaller file sizes. I'll make both versions available
