My birthday is early nov, I begged my parents to pre-order it for me at my local CD store but then I remembered that i also asked them to get me an itunes card so I could get it on my ipod, they hit me with that whole “we will see” bullshit until it was my bday, opening that itunes card i was happy af and preordered the album on iTunes immediately , turned 14 that year (im 26 now jesus)

Remember going to the store that day and getting the CD then going home and downloading the album on itunes and I was so lost on what to do first, ipod or CD, i settled on ipod and listened front to back at like 10 pm when my dad had slept, I still remember that first listen like it was yesterday, immediately went to my room after and played it on my stereo with the CD and put up the poster I got of him and flipped through the booklet as I listened, god albums just dont come out like that anymore everything is so stripped down

Its hard to listen to take care nowadays, it transports me right to nov 2011 - early 2013, and it makes me sad as f***, knowing ill never get to re live those times again so I really only listen to it maybe once a year, its emotionally hard to handle, used to sing it to girls on my flip phone, over skype, damn

It was fun reminiscing with you all throughout the years, ill see you at the 20th anniversary
