what if the other person died
less likely to die than being shot at tbh. i think just using the taser would had two alive rn instead of 1
what if the other person died
But somebody did die
Other option could of saved everybody

Yeah in a very unfortunate situation. I just don’t know how people are seeing this as cut and dry when obviously there were things that all parties could’ve done (including the officer) to prevent what happened

It just shows cops don't know how to handle hostile situations without shooting and killing
That's a problem
It's 1 girl with a knife, not a gun

I’m not disagreeing but the situation could’ve been deescalated prior to arrival
Like look at this pasty ass nigga man
No muscle tone with a beer belly
This who they got out "protecting" people
Locally a few months back a teenager got stabbed to death in a Walmart while getting jumped by other teenage girls, using a kitchen knife they grabbed off a shelf in the store.
Not trying to make a point with this post, just got reminded of that from this story. Wild world out there
What if police had a blank as their first bullet
Like they say they aren’t supposed to shoot warning shots because of possible collateral damage. So if the first shot was a blank, it would make the noise and deliver the message that s*** is about to go down, without actually inflicting any damage. And it wouldn’t really slow down the cops in the event that they actually need to use their weapon. Cops can clearly fire off multiple rounds in a matter of seconds, as evidenced in this case. But I’m pretty confident the sound of gunfire alone would’ve broken this fight up and the girl would likely still be alive.
Lmao.im sure
In a scenario where there are no police, isn’t community policing basically what’s expected? I don’t see why it’s unrealistic to expect people like Kyle Rittenhouse to “protect the city” if there isn’t a police presence. Because that’s pretty much what happened right? Protests were turning into riots and police weren’t stopping it so right wingers went in with guns to “protect businesses”, and it ended with people being murdered

ngl I agree that he shouldnt have shot her.
But I literally dont see a situation where somebody dont end up dead.
She was already literal inches away from stabbing the other girl when he backed out and clapped her.
Best case scenario, she wouldve stabbed homegirl and got tased after.
Uh huh
Typical synopsis response. Not sure why anyone even replies to you

Stab wounds are dangerous af. I think stab wounds are more lethal than gunshots.

yea I know theyre dangerous, idk if theyre more lethal or not cuz I have friends that been stabbed and survived but still.
I'm just saying thats the only outcome I see where Makhia survives
A taser had a chance of not working (say 15% chance of the victim getting stabbed and dying), especially from that distance and with a human that large. In my mind, if he tried to use a taser, he would have prioritized the life of the aggressor over the life of the victim — I don't think there's any case where more consideration should be given to the aggressor than the victim.
People — all people — need to learn not to resort to the threat of lethal danger when they are in an argument/upset with somebody/whatever.

I agree. That’s the best outcome but it’s also a complete gamble
Yea this one isn’t the story they tryna make it. You try to kill someone in front of a cop and you’re gonna get killed. Common sense.

my son brought up 50 Cent like he's not one of the exceptions instead of the standard.
1-2 bullets in the wrong place is takin you out instantly bruv
Uh huh
Actually interested in hearing why you think this wouldn’t be a likely result. You’re usually pretty well researched on your opinions so I’m sure you have a reasoning to it. I’m curious what the reasoning is and why it didn’t apply in situations where we’ve seen people take the law into their own hands
