When an officer sees a person attempting to kill another person, they have to use deadly force to save the life of the person being assaulted.
The officer is literally watching her trying to stab the other female with a deadly weapon, saving that female's life.

She was on her property defending herself getting jumped which is her right.
There is absolutely no way that officer assessed the situation in 5 seconds where he came to a decision that someone needed to die in order to deescalate the situation. He approached the situation and his first decision was to shoot and kill.
This is a police department that has had up to 30 (reported) killings since 2015, in the last few months they’ve murdered Casey Goodson and Andre Hill in disgusting fashion. Miles Jackson also happened last week in a situation that shouldn’t have led to his death. And now, today, a 15 year old suffers the same fate. And if you try to believe they had good intentions today, they were taunting neighbors that witnessed the situation by chanting “Blue Lives Matter”.
That child did not need to die and you’re a terrible person if you try to justify this in any way.
Yeah, I heard about the chanting, that was f***ing horrible and there is no excuse.
That’s why I said he should’ve used non-lethal force to defuse the situation, but he will legally get off because he felt he had to protect the person was going to get stabbed.

eversincewhat would have a British/UK cop done? I believe most of them don't carry guns... and a lot of stabbings occur over there, so how do they diffuse a situation like this?

And this came down to inches & seconds as girl was winding up with that blade. I think a few warning shots could of broke s*** up the fastest really.

There’s no such thing as warning shots outside of movies man, at least in the military we are taught to shoot center mass.
All that shoot em in the leg or in the ground or in the air stuff isn’t taught nor is it really practiced. Maybe police are taught the same thing idk. It sounds practical and well reasoned but when s*** actually going down it doesn’t make sense, bullets gotta go somewhere and if you shoot in the air it’s coming back down, bullets that hit the ground will ricochet... Soon as he pulled the gun and decided that’s what he was using she was dead
Taser or pepper spray should of been used imo, he shouldn’t of just went all John blaze cause he could of hit the girl in pink too. Overall it’s a complex situation

the UK's ones are bad, but compared to US cops theyre f***ing angels
also its different as in the UK all weapons are completely illegal, whereas in the US you get some states where its perfectly legal to not only carry weapons but use weapons (in certain scenarios)

Did you watch the body cam were the girl in pink was standing outside and the girl rushed out with the knife? The girl in pink was holding a dog by the car I don’t see any attacking?
