When Harry Met Sally is one of my all time favorites, I always assumed it was one of those “oh this is pretty good for an older movie” kind of watches. Finally got around to watching and then I really understood why nearly every romcom since has had to riff on it.

From the reporting I’ve seen, it looks like he has been living with his parents and was still addicted. Some people have said that they were trying to do an at home rehabilitation because he didn’t want to go back to rehab. It sounds like his addiction has been ongoing and relevant to the case.
