“how could kanye top college drop out. In my opinion the new album seems a little stale. Seems to be missing the magic I heard on the first kanye album. Doesn't quite pull me in. PLus kanye seems like twice as corny on this. maybe if i force fed it down my throat for a week or two i could like it.”

Y’all sure this isn’t about JIK?

Lol Kids 15 years from are gonna read some of y'all posts on JIK the same way.

That's what people said about 808s when it came out now it's ranked as his best by some. Yeezus too.

you're making valid points but I just think jik didn't have the amount of substance or meat that those other albums you're naming did. 808s and yeezus were incredibly experimental, hence why it took a few years to catch on for some. Ye and jik, not so much.

Idk I'd say JIK is pretty experimental in terms of theme. You don't see many big artists randomly go Christian and pull it off like Ye did.

the entire album is like 30 minutes, and a lot of that is not very memorable. Just a lot of weightless verses.
