I can see what you’re saying as those are generally my least revisited Drake songs/albums (really TML) but there’s a heavy nostalgic factor that is a trade off for the dated sounds. For the record Comeback Season sounds wayyyy better these days than TML to me and doesn’t have as many noticeable moments as mentioned

Lyrical content wise I find it to be a more interesting listen because he wasn't very famous yet or trying to fit all of the 48 laws of power into every verse

Hahahaha this super duper flow thing was pretty bad but it applies to a lot of songs back in that time period.

That was a weird time period for music in general. I think mainstream music is much more interesting now imo.

I can agree with this. Best I ever had is objectively corny as all hell but I can still re listen to it more than most songs because the nostalgia hits that hard
