Cant tell if this is satire but if not then thats fire. Hard to think of any look that was as viscerally impactful as hedi’s slp to clothing at large

nah not satire at all I was heavy on SLP early to mid 2010s

kinda transitioned from dior to SLP along with hedi. still have a few pairs of hedi diors too

And its trash, but its all they know and their not interested in going further. I'll be honest,Kanye/Pharrell helped me get into fashion, but after that,i started to do my own research, buy magazine and put together and buy clothes i liked.

Eventually got grown, and started buying what I wanted, cause I acquired taste. Rap was always trendy, but now,its reverted back to 0 taste, straight gaudy. I haven't followed a rappers fashion in a long time, got my own like-dislikes.

New kids though, alot of them just straight copying looks. On the bright side, these IG fashion inspo/archive pages, can be some of the best content on the web, follow the right pages and you'll learn something new everyday.

Yeah instagram is about as far as anyones gonna look nowadays

But even then theres now those rich kids who would’ve been hype beasts in 2016 becoming "archive beasts" lol just buying anything with a aw/2003 tag on it and kinda overdoing that stuff too

As far as rappers post 2020 I haven’t seen a new one who’s style I would incorporate or consider stylish but the kids still do, for example ever since kay flock blew up it’s weird to see white kids on tiktok dressed like hood niggas in the bronx I grew up around lmao

Still have so much s*** from this era.

Like 5 or 6 pairs of SLP denim
bunch of SLP sneakers and shoes
2 pairs of raf Velcro’s including one of my all time trails
    A few raf ozweegos
    Margiela triple straps and futures

I still even have a couple pairs of arenas and the SLP bikers lmao. Good times

But do you wear them still

Yea,rappers still set the tone for teens and such, who still look at rap as the "cutting edge" fashion wise, pretty sure that theres suburban kids following their own path tho,to much exposure to different subcultures/brands for people interested in fashion(not to mention inspo pages). And your gonna always have people attempting to collect and hoard the hottest, whether they care for them or not.

Again, fashion is still fun,its just alot of angles to the game now,you have to find you or get lost.

    all the kicks yea

unfortunately most of my clothes from that era would only fit 130-145 lb me. started fw the gym in 2018 and I'm like 175 now. I can't fit 30 waist D02 SLP's and 17.5 cm Diors anymore

all the jeans and clothes just sit there collecting dust
