Cockhampton is dying out, but there's prolly another left of center OF derived group sooner rather than later. The trap style from the late 2010s is still en vogue, it's just shifting back to actual "street" artists vs these normal ass accessible mainstream rappers (who the street guys eventually become I suppose).

The X/Juice type of cats still sell...there's probably alot im missing in between one end or the other though

groups being influenced by odd future in their wake isnt the same as a new generation of kids that werent old enough to experience OF at the stuff retroactively becoming big fans & wearing the merch and stuff. sorta like how people rock NERD trucker hats or aphex twin shirts now or hip kids semi ironically rock tool/limp bizkit merch. you saw a lot less of that in the early 2010s and we're in that period now where rocking OF merch is gross & unthinkable but the way this stuff works is they'll be cool again in like idk 2029 or something

we’re softly in it right now and will see the outsized effect within 5 years when dimmer media conglomerates wise up to the deal and start to do it very heavy handedly
