For sure, but children weren’t really effected by it and a bunch of people weren’t effected by it. Everyone is effected by this - rich, poor, young, old, etc

People lost their homes, jobs, savings, investments etc.

Same here (covid szn), but way more. People who were well off weren’t really effected in 2008, everyone is and has been effected by this

Focus on the positive. Takes this year to build yourself in however you want. Learn something you’re interested in. Get better at that hobby. This should teach you to stop saying you’ll do it tomorrow. Appreciate what you got cause it might be different tomorrow.

as a kid tho i had no clue what was happening and the fact that it ever happened at all until i got older. kids know what's happening rn and will remember growing up

In fact not even all western countries felt it. Canada for example was relatively fine while the US was in deep recession

Covid is definitely unprecedented in a global sense. My family in africa, Europe etc all had lockdowns, social distancing etc
