It kinda seems like y'all Bernie supporters lowkey want Trump to win

If Biden can't win the presidency without Bernie supporters maybe he shouldn't be complete s***

I’m hoping that most Bernie voters will see Trump as the greater evil and show up and vote him out. Ultimately if they don’t vote, we can’t force them. Hopefully the numbers will still be there to boot Trump out.

I hope that outside the more hardcore section of Bernie’s fan base, most will still show up to the polls along with hopefully a renewed democratic energy.

If 2016 taught us anything, it’s the power of having a ‘Villian narrative’ against a nominee (Clinton) is a powerful weapon, and hopefully voters will see Trump as the ‘big boss villian’ and take him down.

Hopefully, in just over 6 months we could have a Dem President, House and Senate.

isn't it more or less confirmed he's picking the governor of Michigan?

mostly, since iirc he had her on his “podcast,” but it honestly seems she lost the steam and recognition she got from the trump s*** already and they seem to cater to almost exactly the same demographic so i don’t really get it beyond being topical, tbh

Possibly. But I think that would be a secondary reason if so. Main reason is to court berners to vote for him and/or make them stay home

He’s been doing that this whole cycle

    agreed

    Synopsis

And what is joe Biden doing to spark energy

    Nothing.

Look, i don't like the guy either. He's a HORRIBLE candidate, but having Trump as president for another 4 years + full republican control of the supreme court for the next 40 years is an absolute nightmare scenario.

Voting for Trump or not voting at all is pretty much the kind of s*** that would ensure that the afformentioned scenario becomes reality. We simply cannot let this happen.

I dont understand the pick if its her tbh. I mean i get it would help him out in michigan but outside of there she has zero name recognition.

I guess it could help in the "suburban white woman" demo that biden is for some reason so hellbent on winning, but trump already despises her and is just gonna be on the attack with zero repercussions. Media cant play the race card, only the sexism card, and that sure as hell didnt work last time so it sure as hell wont work with a woman that nobody knows

Furthermore, she probably doesnt give voters much confidence if something were to happen to Biden. She's only been in office for 2 years, has never served in federal govt, and doesnt pander to the part of the democrats that Biden is lacking. For example, the Pence pick brought a lot of GOP holdouts on board becasue he was a "traditional" republican. It assured some people that were hesitant about trump. Pence's "radical" views also were a safe measure to assure Donald that he wouldnt be removed because some thought Pence would be even worse. This pick would do literally none of that for Biden, it makes no sense.

It reminds me of the Palin pick honestly. he's just pandering but instead it comes off as if he's legit trying to lose.

BRUH i was reading down this whole post and instantly was thinking “Palin” liberal version the whole time, then got to ur last sentence

the logic ain’t there to me, personally, and it would prolly be indicative of the other out of touch moves he may make going forward

not to mention Biden f***ed himself by telling a Michigan union worker he would smack him or whatever the f*** he said in the primary i am positive that s*** is gonna get major press/ads come the general gearing up, if it becomes a “standard” race outside of corona

To the Bernie collective in here, I’m genuinely curious and not looking to cause some big fight or something, but let’s say the entire presidency comes down to one vote, YOUR vote, and you can only choose between Trump and Biden and you HAVE to vote, who would you actually choose?

Who is it you actually want to be President between these two?

Pretty much all of Bernie’s supporters would vote against Trump in this scenario.

But that’s not real life. Truth is, if you don’t live in Michigan/Wisconsin/Pennsylvania and maybe a couple others, your vote for president means absolutely nothing. So I don’t want to see b****ing at people who live in NY and s***

Even more reason to try to do something to appeal to more progressive voters.it is my understanding that they failed to do that

why should we show up to the polls

the boomers voted bernie out, they are now responsible for voting Biden in since he is their guy.

good luck to them making it to polling stations when the 2nd wave of covid returns

You don’t realize how f***ing stupid it is to tacitly support Trump out of spite just because nobody voted for your guy?

I think a majority will, too, but after 2016 it is still pretty concerning.

When you can’t even count on 75% of Bernie voters to vote for Clinton when she’s running against a far-right game show host that campaigned on walling off the brown people from Mexico, then there is a potential problem.

It just blows my mind that the people who are always talking loudest about societal issues are the ones that are immediately willing to now down to Trump to prove a petty point about ideological purity.

I feel ya mate. Although I think it’s worse for this upcoming election. Back in 16 the MSM weren’t taking Donald too serious until it was much too late. I’m willing to chalk a lot of thAt to bernie supporters not seriously believing he can win.

Now he has won. He’s shown how incapable he is of doing his job multiple times and they’re still willing to sit out

I’ve got american mates that said they’ll still vote but I also have some that said no. I can’t say I don’t blame them, they’re upset but giving that man another four years will hurt your movement even more

If his mishandling of this epidemic doesn’t inspire these people to vote, then it’s a lost cause tbh

The big argument is that not supporting m4a (only as Bernie envisions it) will indirectly cost people their lives... but Trump’s actions in office are proving to directly cost 1000’s of people their lives

  • Apr 11, 2020

If dnc wants us to stick by them they shouldn't throw these trash ass candidates the nom, its that simple. They have to learn their lesson or else it will never change. Lesser of two evils wasnt enough then and it surely won't be enough now.

You think he is mentally unwell because of some cherry picked videos? Did you not watch the last debate? He seemed more lucid than Bernie did. Bernie was up there talking about “Ebola”...
