THIS is not someone my black ass will vote for. Do what you want.

Who are you going to vote for? Or are you not voting at all?

What’s the issue here? And who’s the alternative? Biden?

Edit: Oh. That delusional tweet is from someone still professing the #KHive. I see where you’re coming from now

    There is no alternative.

There's nobody addressing the specific economic needs of Black America without general inclusion of other groups in this country.

Black America needs specific policies and specific help just for Black America. Bernie stays falling over himself when the same exact question is asked. We know the Latino community & poo white community also need economic assistance and nobody is against that; we need specifics. He's been getting on my f***ing nerves with this s***.

What specific economic needs are you talking about?

  • Jan 4, 2020

Ok well, obviously it’d be a horrible marketing move by the Sanders team to only campaign on black issues and risk alienating sensitive but important whites when detailing policy

But many things he plans to do will help Black America specifically as well as every other poor, scrutinized person

Housing guarantees, jobs guarantees, free healthcare, free college, public school investments, legalizing marijuana, there’s pages on his website dedicated specifically to racial justice and prison reform

all of that will help a majority of Americans and a an even more sizable majority of African or “Black” Americans

A policy specifically addressing these for starters

    blackenterprise.com/african-american-wealth-zero-2053

Bernie's economics are my favorite out of the front runners right now, but the "help everyone equally" talk is not cutting the mustard for me when one group statistically needs more assistance, and I'm concerned about more trickle down racial minority policies that end up once again with Black America not benefiting.

I want everyone out of poverty and for the capitalist system to be challenged in favor of helping everyone in poverty, however we need specific help as shown in the data.

He's not about "helping out everybody equally" lol, what would that even mean? In that video you linked he already explicitly said that the communities that are most impoverished should be invested in most heavily, black communities are disproportionately affected by poverty, so they'd get more help than others.

There are plenty of criticisms to be made about Bernie, but let's not act like a Bernie presidency would not be the best outcome out of the upcoming elections.

No you're implying, we need a policy specified which is what homegirl asked him and he didn't answer her.

This happened like 3 times last year. Someone black asks Bernie the same question and he starts bringing up all poor communities.

You were asked about one, stay on topic.

So it's not even about the policy itself? Just about how he frames it in some of his answers?

Let's also not forget about the fact that a Bernie presidency would have a big effect outside of US borders as well. While Trump is getting ready to start a war against Iran and none of the candidates are taking any actions against it, Bernie is introducing legislation that would block funding from the Pentagon for an invasion of Iran.

I am not voting for Trump if they kidnapped my family and threatened to murk them.

He's the best option out of Trump/Warren/Biden, but I ain't voting for dude.

If you're not voting for him over the others, you're directly making it easier for Trump to win, I don't see how that helps black communities.

Edit: wait are you saying that Trump is better than Warren and Biden?

That orange idiot would win if I voted for Bernie or not.

Personally, I think the fix is already in and the real election by the people is in 2024.
We're in a better position than 2016 when it was Hilary & Trump who are both dumpster fires, at least.

  • Jan 4, 2020

That edit lmao wtf, I just listed the people that matter at this point in elections.

Trump called Mexican people rapists + sexually assaults women + is a racist + xenophobe + wants to build a wall, etc,., dude can die in a fire.

No, I'm just a pessimist and know the worst is yet to come.

I also think the decision to drone Iran has pushed voters in Trumps direction. Some people have actually grown support for Trump because he ordered it/approved it, and not just a handful.

Watching the dems try to justify it is even worse.

  • Jan 4, 2020

The solution is getting rid of the government all together.

  • It’s Tom Steyer or the f***ing death of me.

what makes you think kamala wouldve been more pro black than bernie? the fact that she locked up and pushed strict policies on a large number of black people in california or the fact that she'd been cozying up to corporate lobbyists and establishment donors long before her pres campaign started? youre outta pocket.
